Casual Kilts are lighter weight, have fewer pleats, and more relaxed and versatile than a Traditional Kilt. The Casual Kilt is machine stitched using 4 - 5 yards of 100% Scottish Wool, and made by highly skilled kiltmakers in Scotland. Perfect for those in warmer climates or those looking for a casual approach to traditional Scottish Highland dress. They are also often known as hiking or walking kilts.
Wolfstone Tartan Kilts are available in-stock. They are fit to your natural waist measurement, not your pant size (these are not the same thing!), and 23” finished length. All other tartans are made to order. Please take this into consideration if you need your order for a specific date. There is a minimum of an 8 week lead time. Our bespoke service ensures that you find the fit and style of kilt right for you, in the tartan of your choice. Featuring buckles and straps, canvas lining, belt loops, knife pleating, fringing on the front apron and pleating your kilt to either the sett or the stripe. Military tartans are typically pleated to stripe.
